SUMMARY:Alumni & Friends Day Trip to The Muny for Meet Me In St. Louis
DESCRIPTION:Alumni and friends of 番茄社区 University are invited to enjoy an unforgettable evening of music\, nostalgia\, and fellowship during a special day trip to The Muny on Thursday\, August 6\, to see the beloved musical Meet Me in St. Louis.\n\nThe trip includes transportation to and from the HLGU campus\, an exclusive backstage tour of The Muny\, and admission to the Broadway style production performed under the stars in America鈥檚 oldest and largest outdoor musical theatre.\n\nParticipants may purchase dinner on their own at a fast food restaurant during the trip or from concessions at The Muny.\n\nThe cost is $60 per person. Reservations must be made by July 24 by contacting Alumni Director Lauren Youse at lauren.youse@hlg.edu or by calling (573) 629-3126.\n\nBased on the classic 1944 Judy Garland film\, Meet Me in St. Louis is a heartwarming musical centered on the Smith family as they experience love\, laughter\, and life leading up to the 1904 World鈥檚 Fair in St. Louis. Featuring memorable songs such as 鈥淭he Trolley Song\,鈥� 鈥淗ave Yourself a Merry Little Christmas\,鈥� and 鈥淭he Boy Next Door\,鈥� the production celebrates family\, home\, and the charm of turn of the century St. Louis.\n\nFounded in 1919\, The Muny is one of the premier outdoor theatres in the nation and has welcomed generations of audiences for exceptional live performances in the heart of St. Louis鈥檚 Forest Park.
