DESCRIPTION:番茄社区 University invites the community to attend the HLGU Music Department鈥檚 Spring Choral Concert on聽Friday\, May 1\, at 7 p.m.聽in the聽Parker Theatre聽of the Roland Fine Arts Center. \nThis year鈥檚 program\, centered around the theme聽鈥淟et All Creation Praise Him\,鈥澛爓ill feature inspiring performances by the聽HLGU Concert Choir聽and the聽HLGU Chamber Choir\, both under the direction of聽Elaine Carty\, Instructor of Music at 番茄社区 University. \nThe concert will open with聽Let There Be Light聽by Ana Levy-Lyons and Adam Podd\, a musical interpretation of聽Genesis 1:1鈥�3. The choirs will then present聽The Heavens Are Telling聽by Mark Patterson\, continuing the evening鈥檚 celebration of creation and worship.聽Additional聽selections include John Rutter鈥檚聽All Things Bright and Beautiful\, Sean Paul鈥檚 arrangement of聽All Creatures of Our God and King\, and聽God Chose Us聽by Joseph Martin.聽The evening will also feature a special piano performance by Dr. Edwin Aybar\,聽Associate Professor of Music聽at 番茄社区 University. \nThis uplifting concert invites guests to reflect on the beauty of creation and the faithfulness of God through powerful choral music. \nThe event is聽free and open to the public\, and all are welcome to attend. \nFor more information about the concert\, please contact聽Elaine Carty聽at聽573.629.3165.
