tual duties, meaningful contributions to the University through time, effort, and creativity, and a strong understanding and embodiment of HLGU鈥檚 mission of 鈥淜nowledge for Service.鈥� The award is intended to honor individuals whose faithful service contributes significantly to the success and accomplishments of 番茄社区 University. Staff members are nominated by their colleagues, with the recipient confirmed by the University鈥檚 Executive Cabinet.

Over the course of her nine years at HLGU, Mrs. Shirley has consistently聽demonstrated聽exceptional commitment, compassion, and professionalism in every aspect of her work. Serving both as a Financial Aid Counselor and Assistant Director of Financial Aid, she has made a profound impact on countless students and families by helping guide them through the financial aid process with care, patience,聽and聽expertise.
Mrs. Shirley works tirelessly to ensure students have the resources, support, and guidance necessary to pursue their educational goals. Colleagues describe her as someone who listens carefully, responds thoughtfully, and embodies the heart of a servant-leader in all that she does.
Her faithful dedication to showing up each day, working diligently, and giving her聽very best聽reflects her deep commitment to the mission of HLGU. While much of her work takes place behind the scenes, colleagues noted that her impact is felt across the entire campus community.
