In an effort to make the transition as smooth as possible, HLGU is instituting a $3,000 MacMurray Scholarship which will be applied on top of any transfer, academic, or other scholarships the students would be eligible for. Additionally, the University is waiving the 32 credit hour residency requirement so seniors at MacMurray can transfer to HLGU and finish their degree without taking extra classes.

鈥淲e are pleased to work with MacMurray College students who find themselves in this transition,鈥 said Dr. Anthony Allen, HLGU President. 鈥湻焉缜 stands ready to help any students who would be interested in attending HLGU. Students and athletes alike will hopefully find HLGU to be a place to conclude their education in close proximity.鈥

MacMurray College is located in Jacksonville, Illinois, an hour east of Hannibal.
