POSITION SUMMARY
This is a Graduate Assistantship position and requires enrollment in a ·¬ÇÑÉçÇø University graduate degree program. The role includes a tuition benefit and stipend, with work hours typically ranging from 20–25 hours per week. The Graduate Assistant for volleyball reports directly to the Head Coach and assists in all aspects of operating a collegiate athletic program. This includes practice planning, recruiting, player development, game preparation, and administrative responsibilities.
 Employee must possess a vibrant, personal Christian faith including a clear testimony of Christian conversion and be actively involved in an evangelical, preferably Southern Baptist, church.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist the Head Coach in planning and conducting practices, training sessions, and competitions
- Support recruiting efforts including communication, campus visits, and evaluation of prospective student-athletes
- Assist with game day operations including setup, statistics, film, and other assigned duties
- Monitor academic progress and support the academic success of student-athletes
- Assist in strength and conditioning coordination in collaboration with athletics staff
- Support equipment management including inventory, setup, and maintenance
- Break down game film and assist with scouting reports
- Assist with travel planning and coordination for team competitions
- Support program administrative tasks including data entry, compliance tracking, and communication
- Represent the program and University in a professional manner consistent with institutional values
- Other duties as assigned by the Head Coach or Athletic Administration
DEPARTMENTAL RELATIONSHIPS
Works closely with the Head Coach, Athletic Department staff, faculty, and other campus departments to support the success of the volleyball program and student athletes.

- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and travel as required
- Knowledge of the sport and ability to teach fundamental skills

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND TRAINING
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Collegiate playing or coaching experience preferred
- Must be accepted into a ·¬ÇÑÉçÇø University graduate program
